Speed + Passion=Momentum
We understand that if we are to continue to thrive in today's competitive world, we need to establish and sustain momentum. Momentum is everything. It's the most essential ingredient in competitiveness, in attracting and retaining talented people, in morale and in team building. More than that, it's also addictive - and it just feels good.
If we are to grow as an organistion, and as individuals, then we need to get ourselves on the right path and accelerate down it. Eventually the momentum we build becomes unstoppable.
To gain and maintain momentum we need two ingredients: Speed and Passion
Speed
Speed is the component of momentum that thrills and energizes people. This is especially true in our business where markets are large and robust. In our industry speed tends to propel ideas and drive processes right through traditional barriers, sweeping the bureaucrats and their interference aside in a mad rush to get to the marketplace and achieve the unachievable. Thus, we have no bureaucracy.
But we have to be careful as, like a virus, it keeps mutating and trying to find its way back in. Bureaucracy and bureaucrats have no place at Forty Two International. While we will operate most effectively with robust processes and systems, bureaucracy is interference.
If we are not fast we won't win. We must get our products to market fast. We have to help our clients achieve advantage before their competitors. We must respond to our customers quicker. We have to make decisions faster.
Passion
Passion is a hunger and appetite for growth, for customer satisfaction, and above all the universal desire to be a world-class global success and to act on it faster and with more urgency. How? We maintain an atmosphere of speed, a hot climate, a high profile meritocracy, where people can have the resources to grow, where the best development and productivity tools are available, where our people can expand their geographical and professional horizons and their views on life.
We aim to develop and maintain an environment that is friendly, spirited and open; where people aren't in the habit of saying NO! In short, we want a culture where people are willing to change and experiment so that they can succeed and grow.
